Everything you need to know about Trade Oracle — from getting started to mastering advanced analytics.

Getting Started

Trade Oracle is an AI-powered trading journal built specifically for Hyperliquid traders. It automatically imports your trades, provides deep analytics, and delivers AI-generated insights to help you become a more consistent and profitable trader.

Creating Your Account

Trade Oracle uses passkey-based authentication (WebAuthn) — there are no passwords to remember or leak. To sign up:

  • Navigate to the registration page and choose a username.
  • Your device will prompt you to create a passkey (biometric, security key, or device PIN).
  • Once verified, your account is created and you're logged in automatically.

Future logins simply require your passkey — tap your fingerprint sensor, use Face ID, or insert your security key. No passwords, no 2FA codes.

Connecting Your Hyperliquid Wallet

After signing in for the first time, you'll be guided to the Settings page to link your Hyperliquid wallet address. This is a read-only connection:

  • Paste your Hyperliquid wallet address (0x…) in Settings.
  • Trade Oracle reads your public trade history via the Hyperliquid API — it never has access to your private keys or the ability to execute trades.
  • Both main-account and sub-account (XYZ DEX) trades are supported.

Initial Sync

Once your wallet is connected, Trade Oracle performs an initial full sync of your trade history. Depending on how active your account has been, this may take a moment. After that, incremental syncs happen automatically on a configurable schedule.

Trade Journal

The Trade Journal is the core of Trade Oracle. Every closed trade from your Hyperliquid account is automatically imported, organized, and available for review.

Trade History Table

All of your trades are displayed in a comprehensive, sortable table. Each row shows:

  • Symbol The trading pair (e.g., BTC-PERP, ETH-PERP).
  • Side Whether the trade was long or short.
  • Entry / Exit Price Averaged entry and exit prices.
  • Size Position size in the base asset.
  • P&L Realized profit or loss, color-coded green/red.
  • ROE% Return on equity percentage.
  • Duration How long the position was held.
  • Date When the trade was opened and closed.

Filtering & Sorting

Powerful filters let you drill into specific subsets of your trading history:

  • Symbol filter — View trades for a specific asset or group of assets.
  • Side filter — Show only longs, only shorts, or both.
  • Date range — Focus on a specific time period.
  • P&L range — Filter by profit/loss thresholds.
  • Column sorting — Click any column header to sort ascending or descending.

Journaling

Each trade can be annotated with personal journaling data to build a feedback loop:

  • Notes — Free-text notes about your thesis, execution, emotional state, or lessons learned.
  • Rating — Rate each trade from 1 to 5 stars based on how well you followed your plan, regardless of P&L.
  • Tags — Categorize trades with custom tags (e.g., "breakout", "scalp", "revenge trade", "A+ setup").

Trade Detail View

Click any trade to open a detailed view with the full breakdown — entry/exit levels, funding paid, duration, journaling data, and more.

Open Positions

The Open Positions view shows your currently active positions on Hyperliquid in real time. Data is fetched directly from the Hyperliquid API so you always have an up-to-date snapshot.

Position Details

Each open position displays:

  • Symbol The perpetual contract you're trading.
  • Side Long or short.
  • Size Current position size.
  • Entry Price Your average entry price.
  • Mark Price Current market price.
  • Unrealized P&L Floating profit or loss.

Multi-Account Support

Analytics Dashboard

The Analytics Dashboard transforms your raw trade data into actionable insights. Use it to understand your strengths, spot weaknesses, and track progress over time.

Period & Symbol Filters

All analytics can be filtered by time period (7 days, 30 days, 90 days, all time, or custom date range) and by specific symbols. Filters apply across all charts and metrics simultaneously.

Core Metrics

  • Net P&L Total realized profit/loss for the selected period.
  • Win Rate Percentage of trades that were profitable.
  • Profit Factor Ratio of gross profit to gross loss (above 1.0 is profitable).
  • Average Win / Loss Mean profit on winning trades vs. mean loss on losing trades.
  • Best Trade Your single most profitable trade in the period.
  • Worst Trade Your single largest loss in the period.
  • Total Trades Number of closed trades in the period.

Charts & Visualizations

  • Cumulative P&L Chart — Line chart showing your equity curve over time. Clearly visualize drawdowns and growth.
  • Daily Net P&L Bar Chart — Daily bars showing net profit or loss per day, color-coded green/red.
  • Symbol Breakdown — See which assets contribute most to your P&L, win rate, and trade count.
  • Trading Calendar Heatmap — A month-view calendar where each day is color-coded by P&L intensity, making it easy to spot patterns in your trading activity.

Performance Score

The Performance Score gives you a single, composite number that summarizes your overall trading quality. It's designed to track improvement over time and highlight specific areas that need attention.

Radar Chart

A six-axis radar chart breaks your performance into distinct dimensions:

  • Win Rate Consistency in picking profitable trades.
  • Profit Factor Efficiency of your overall edge.
  • Avg W/L Ratio How large your average wins are compared to average losses.
  • Recovery Factor How quickly you recover from drawdowns.
  • Max Drawdown Your largest peak-to-trough equity decline (lower is better).
  • Consistency How evenly distributed your returns are across trading days.

Day-Level Stats

Alongside the radar chart, day-level statistics show your performance on a per-session basis — average daily P&L, best/worst days, number of active trading days, and daily return distribution.

Advanced Analytics (Area 51)

Area 51 is Trade Oracle's advanced analytics suite — a collection of powerful tools for traders who want to go deep into their data.

  • Overtrading Gauge — Monitors your trade frequency against your historical baseline and alerts when you're significantly above average.

AI Insights

Trade Oracle integrates with Anthropic's Claude to deliver AI-generated trading insights tailored to your personal trading data. All AI features are designed as supplementary analysis tools — they are not financial advice.

Daily Briefings

Each day, the AI generates a personalized briefing that reviews your recent performance, highlights notable patterns, and suggests areas of focus. Briefings consider your win rate trends, recent P&L, behavioral flags (overtrading, tilt), and how well you've been following your trading rules.

Weekly Reviews

A more comprehensive weekly report that analyzes your trading over the past 7 days, identifying week-over-week changes in performance, behavioral patterns, and progress toward your goals.

Widget Insights

Context-specific AI analysis appears as widgets throughout the platform:

  • Tilt Analysis AI commentary on your recent emotional trading patterns.
  • Time-of-Day Personalized recommendations about your optimal trading hours.
  • Overtrading Analysis of your trade frequency patterns and suggestions.
  • Performance Radar AI interpretation of your performance score and actionable improvement tips.

Upload or view charts and receive AI-powered technical analysis including:

  • Market bias assessment (bullish, bearish, neutral).
  • Key support and resistance levels.
  • Suggested entry and exit zones.
  • Confidence level for the analysis.
  • Recognized chart patterns and formations.

AI-generated insights are for informational and educational purposes only. They may contain errors and should never be the sole basis for trading decisions. Always do your own research.

Trading Rules

Trading Rules help you codify your trading plan and stay disciplined. Define rules across six categories and use the pre-session checklist to review them before each trading session.

Rule Categories

  • Entry Rules about when and how to enter positions (e.g., "Only enter on confirmed breakouts with volume").
  • Exit Rules about when to close trades (e.g., "Always use a stop-loss within 2% of entry").
  • Risk Rules about risk management (e.g., "Never risk more than 1% of portfolio per trade").
  • Sizing Rules about position sizing (e.g., "Scale into positions in 3 tranches").
  • Psychology Rules about mental discipline (e.g., "Stop trading after 3 consecutive losses").
  • General Broad trading principles and reminders.

AI-Suggested Rules

Based on your trading patterns, the AI can suggest new rules tailored to your specific weaknesses. For example, if the AI detects you tend to overtrade during certain hours, it might suggest a rule like "Limit trading to 3 positions between 2-4 AM UTC."

  • Accept — Add the suggested rule to your rule set.
  • Dismiss — Remove the suggestion if it doesn't apply to you.
  • Consolidate — Merge the suggestion with an existing similar rule.

Pre-Session Checklist

Before you start trading, the checklist presents your rules for review. Check off each rule to confirm you're aware of your plan, helping reinforce discipline and reducing impulsive decisions.
